Wayfinder Digital supports Internet Explorer 7 and higher, Firefox 3 and higher, Safari 4 and higher, Chrome 4 and higher. Internet Explorer 6 may work but it will probably be ugly and give you a hard time.
Information About Our Data
Wayfinder Digital provides the provenance — the origin and source — for all of the information in our applicationss and the data used to create them. The key to using information to build knowledge is understanding the individual data elements, what they mean, and how they relate to each other.
Our data comes from publicly available sources and data sets we create to support advanced patent searching. Once we aquire or create the data, we use a variety of data quality tools to validate that the data is correct, make it more readable, and make it easier to understand, use, and navigate.
The trouble with tables. As USPTO transitioned from one generation of publicly available full text data to new generations the formatting of tables was inconsistent. USPTO, like a lot of us, went through many variations of how to present data during the early days of the internet. The result is that some of the tables in our data may look misaligned. We tried to catch and fix as many of them as possible and bring them into the new millenium. But with millions of patents we may have missed some. If you find one we missed, let us know and we'll fix it.
Data Quality
The quality of the data is essential to the quality of the information. Wayfinder Digital uses extensive quality control procedures to deliver high quality, precision data.
